Customers can hop on and find who and what is being sold locally. Smaller niche businesses will have an opportunity to shine with no bias search engine, showing options which couldn’t be found elsewhere.
Coming into new cities you can rely on Lokal to find the hidden gems, like a friend who has been there for years.
We want to restore a sense of community, helping you discover small interesting companies and people unlike ever before.
Individuals and small family businesses will be able to have an easily accessible new home to list goods and services. Everyone wants to support local businesses, but finding them is the difficulty.

Currently we are a start up targeting Christchurch, but we intend to provide an improved service to the rest of NZ shortly.

ABOUT US
Samuel, Sean and Izaiah.
We are a small team from Christchurch hoping to solve a massive problem.
Samuel has stepped away from his car yard for the future of Lokal. He’s an intelligent founder and specializes in the software development.
Sean has a career in finance and marketing. He’s had success in building brands and social media growth and will be focusing on that side of Lokal.
Izaiah is an LED technician contractor and helped build the brand new stadium in Christchurch. He’s also had success in brand building and online media, and will be a key contributor to our online journey.
Together we are a group who enjoy local specialties, and want to help everyone have better a chance to promote their product or service to an audience who is actually looking for them.
Our Community
Social media is a double edged sword. With more ways than ever to explore and communicate, people are finding themselves lost, lonely and disconnected.
We want to bring back a sense of community that enriches our locals. If you head to any local farmers market and speak to vendors, you’ll be met with a feeling of comfort and kindness.
Each vendor has a unique story. A cultured history. It is always an interesting experience being their customer.
